Job summary

XML International seeks an experienced Solution Architect with strong Data Architecture expertise to design enterprise-scale, cloud-native data solutions across data, integration and AI ecosystems.

You will lead architecture governance and work with Azure, Databricks, Lakehouse technologies to shape data products, data mesh, ETL/ELT pipelines and streaming workloads. Collaboration across business and tech teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Solution Architecture experience with strong Data Architecture knowledge.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
• Deep understanding of Lakehouse architecture and Data Mesh concepts.
• Experience with Data Products, ETL/ELT, data pipelines and batch/streaming architectures.
• Familiarity with DataOps, data observability and API-led, event-driven integration.
• Knowledge of AI, GenAI and Azure AI Foundry; certification in TOGAF and Azure is preferred.

Architect Enterprise Data Solutions at Scale

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with strong Data Architecture expertise to design enterprise-scale, cloud-native solutions across modern data, integration and AI ecosystems.

This role combines Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Microsoft Azure, Databricks and Lakehouse technologies with architecture governance and technical decision-making.

You'll work across business and technology teams to shape scalable solutions covering data products, integration, cloud platforms and emerging AI capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Design enterprise-scale, cloud-native solution and data architectures.
• Define architecture patterns using Microsoft Azure, Databricks and Lakehouse technologies.
• Architect modern data solutions covering Data Products, Data Mesh, ETL/ELT and data pipelines.
• Design architectures supporting batch and streaming workloads.
• Incorporate DataOps and data observability principles into enterprise solutions.
• Define API-led, event-driven and enterprise integration architectures.
• Support API Management, DevOps and modern data-platform capabilities.
• Contribute to architecture involving AI, GenAI and agent-based solutions.
• Apply Responsible AI principles where relevant.
• Lead architecture governance, assurance, risk assessment and technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, data and technology stakeholders.
• Influence architectural outcomes across teams without direct authority.

What We're Looking For

8+ years of Solution Architecture experience, including strong Data Architecture expertise.

Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Databricks.

Strong understanding of Lakehouse architecture.

Experience with Data Products and Data Mesh.

Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data pipelines and batch/streaming architectures.

Experience with DataOps and data observability.

Strong understanding of API-led and event-driven architecture.

Experience with API Management, DevOps and enterprise integration.

Knowledge of AI, GenAI, agent-based solutions and Azure AI Foundry.

Strong architecture governance, assurance and risk-management experience.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

Preferred: Experience with PowerDesigner and Enterprise Studio 4.

Mandatory Certifications

Candidates must hold the required certifications/credentials specified for the assignment:
