Job summary

GitLab is seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications QA Engineer with a strong CRM and ERP focus to validate quality across sales, marketing, finance, and accounting systems. You will plan, design, and execute functional, system, and regression tests as well as develop automation frameworks and test scripts.

You will collaborate with BSA’s, PM’s, developers and other QA engineers to ensure defect-free releases and will leverage AI tools like Claude to optimize QA workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Software QA including functional, system, API, and integration testing.
• 4+ years of automation with Playwright and TestIM.
• CRM and ERP domain knowledge (Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite).
• Salesforce platform experience including CPQ, Sales process, Lightning, and API integration.

Responsibilities

• Plan, Build & Execute Functional, System & Regression Testing.
• Document, maintain and execute comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Identify and create detailed test cases for requirements.
• Collaborate with BSA’s, PM’s, Developers and peer QA Engineers for project delivery.
• Develop, Build & maintain Test Automation framework.
• Develop and execute automation test scripts.
• Maintain and enhance the Functional and Regression automation test suites.
• Independently drive end-to-end delivery processes with minimal guidance.
• Communicate QA status and project updates effectively to all stakeholders.
• Collaborate with peers to review QA artifacts, processes.

An Overview Of The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Enterprise Applications QA Engineer with a strong focus on CRM and Finance systems. This role is ideal for a candidate who has a passion for quality, accuracy and efficiency. You will play a critical role in affirming the quality of various enterprise applications especially those supporting sales, marketing, finance and accounting.

What Will Do

• Plan, Build & Execute Functional, System & Regression Testing
• Document, maintain and execute comprehensive test scenarios and test cases

• Collaborate with BSA’s, PM’s, Developers and peer QA Engineers for project delivery

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline; or equivalent professional experience

Experience & Technical Expertise

• 7+ years in Software QA, including functional, system, API, and integration testing
• 4+ years of experience with automation tools and frameworks i.e. Playwright & TestIM
• Strong CRM and ERP domain knowledge i.e. Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform including CPQ, Sales process, Lightning and Salesforce integration with other tools/systems using API
• Proficiency in Java, Javascript and XPath identification
• Hands-on experience in using AI tools like Claude for building agents for QA workflows

The Enterprise Applications QA Team at GitLab is a dynamic, cross-functional group dedicated to the quality of all the business applications. Focusing on both CRM systems and Finance systems, the team authors and maintains the manual and automated test suites. The team owns the execution of test cycles to confirm the defect-free release of the applications.
