Job summary

3shool Technology Consultants in Bangalore is seeking a Senior Architect / Project Lead / Manager-level resource to drive end-to-end cloud transformation programs. The role requires deep technical expertise to address client questions and to lead migrations to AWS/Azure/GCP, database modernization, platform engineering, DevOps, FinOps, and security/compliance.

You will manage global teams and vendors, with a focus on delivering on time within budget.

Qualifications

Title: Enterprise Cloud Architect Program Lead

We are looking for a Senior Architect / Project Lead / Manager-level resource. The resource should have strong technical expertise and the confidence to address and respond to technical questions from the client during the discussion and from Bangalore location only.

Work Mode : On-site (Bangalore)

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Transformation

• Lead enterprise cloud migration and modernization programs.
• Develop cloud transformation strategy and execution roadmap.
• Drive migration from on-premises environments to AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Manage multi-workstream cloud transformation initiatives.

Database Modernization & Migration

• Lead Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB migration projects.
• Manage application portfolio assessments.
• Drive data center exit and cloud modernization initiatives.
• Coordinate database migration planning and execution.

Cloud Infrastructure

• Oversee cloud infrastructure strategy and implementation.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery.
• Govern cloud architecture standards and best practices.

Platform Engineering

• Lead Kubernetes platform initiatives.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation/Bicep).
• Drive internal developer platform and self-service automation.
• Improve developer productivity through platform engineering.

DevOps & Automation

• Establish CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.
• Standardize release management processes.
• Drive automation across infrastructure and application deployment.
• Promote DevSecOps practices.

FinOps & Cost Optimization

• Implement FinOps governance.
• Identify cloud cost optimization opportunities.
• Monitor cloud spend and recommend optimization strategies.
• Deliver 30–40% infrastructure cost optimization through automation and governance.

Observability & Site Reliability Engineering

• Define SLI/SLO frameworks.
• Implement enterprise monitoring and observability platforms.
• Improve incident response and operational excellence.
• Drive Chaos Engineering initiatives.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure Zero Trust security architecture.
• Oversee IAM, CSPM, vulnerability management, and compliance.
• Support SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with security teams for cloud governance.

Program Management

• Manage budgets, timelines, risks, dependencies, and executive reporting.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Business.
• Conduct steering committee meetings and executive status reviews.
• Ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum certification preferred.
• AWS/Azure/GCP Professional Certifications are highly desirable.

Experience Required

• 12–18 years of overall IT experience.
• 8+ years managing enterprise cloud transformation programs.
• Experience leading programs with budgets exceeding 1.8 to 2 LPM
• Proven delivery of large-scale cloud migration initiatives.
• Experience managing globally distributed teams and third-party vendors.
