Job summary
Lloyds Technology Centre in Hyderabad invites an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to shape architectural strategy across Consumer & Digital platforms. You will define technology roadmaps, advise stakeholders, and oversee cloud, APIs, and event-driven solutions to deliver business outcomes.
You will align platform architectures with Lloyds Banking Group’s strategic aims, driving innovation while meeting regulatory and security requirements.
Qualifications
- ,Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture within large-scale consumer/retail platforms.
- Experience shaping strategy and roadmaps within complex organisations.
- Strong understanding of modern tech including microservices, APIs, hybrid cloud, CI/CD and DevOps.
- Ability to translate architectural vision into delivery outcomes improving business performance.
- Experience in regulated environments with awareness of non-functional requirements.
- Confident in influencing senior and executive stakeholders.
- Excellent communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to learn emerging technologies such as Generative AI.
- Knowledge of domain-driven design and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with public and private cloud technologies and cloud providers.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, resilience by design, and sustainable tech practices.

- Define, uphold and communicate Technology Strategy aligned to Group priorities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Technology and Business Platform Leads.
- Translate business strategy into architectural roadmaps and actionable delivery plans.
- Provide architectural oversight across cloud, APIs, integration, event-driven and traditional platforms.
- Shape solutions balancing innovation, governance, security and regulatory compliance.
- Influence senior stakeholders through storytelling and clear communication.
- Support organisational change by converting architectural models into programmes of work.
- Champion agile, digital-first principles and continuous improvement.

The Senior Enterprise Architect will lead on the architectural strategy & development to support the Platform they are aligned to. They will be an expert technologist that supports their Platform(s) define the strategic north star and technology roadmaps associated to these. They can be a Line Manager or an Individual Contributor, requiring strong stakeholder management skills and strong domain knowledge.
LOCATION: LTC, Hyderabad
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of the above office sites

We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our Consumer & Digital Architecture team. In this pivotal role, you’ll influence Group-wide technology direction, working at the intersection of business strategy, technology design and delivery across major consumer journeys such as current accounts, savings and credit cards. You’ll help define the capabilities required for long-term success, aligning platform and cards architecture with Lloyds Banking Group’s strategic ambitions.
You’ll join a Consumer & Digital Architecture business unit aligned to your skills and experience, working across complex platforms that support a large and diverse customer base.
- Drive the strategic direction of architecture across Consumer & Digital platforms

- Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture, ideally within large-scale consumer or retail platforms.
- Experience shaping strategy and roadmaps within complex, large-scale organisations
- Strong understanding of modern technology including microservices, APIs, hybrid cloud, CI/CD and DevOps
- Ability to translate architectural vision into delivery-focused outcomes that improve business performance
- Experience working in regulated environments, with strong awareness of non-functional requirements
- Confidence influencing at all levels, including senior and executive stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong understanding and willingness to learn emerging technologies such as Generative AI and their real-world business application
