Job summary
Thomsun Infocare is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to provide organization-wide technology leadership across Product Engineering, ERP and SaaS offerings from Infopark, Kochi.
The role focuses on defining enterprise architecture, technology strategy, and modernization initiatives, with emphasis on cloud, security, AI/GenAI, and scalable architectures to align tech with business goals and customer needs.
Qualifications
- 12–20 years in Software Engineering, Enterprise/Solution Architecture, Technology Consulting or Technology Leadership.
- Strong experience in Enterprise Architecture & Solution Architecture.
- Strong enterprise application architecture, system integration and API experience.
- Strong expertise in at least one technology ecosystem, preferably Microsoft/.NET.
- Broad exposure to multiple technology platforms and architectural approaches.
- Strong Azure/AWS and Cloud Architecture experience.
- Experience with modern application architecture, distributed systems and APIs.
- Strong understanding of ERP, SaaS and enterprise applications.
- Experience in technology strategy, architecture governance, roadmap development, modernization and digital transformation.
- Exposure to AI/GenAI and emerging technologies.
- Strong understanding of technology risks, security and architectural trade-offs.
- Experience engaging with senior management, customers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure and commercially viable technology architecture.
Responsibilities
- Define enterprise architecture vision, principles, standards and technology direction.
- Develop technology strategy, multi-year roadmap and modernization/transformation plans.
- Establish architecture governance, review mechanisms, reference architectures and technical standards.
- Provide architectural direction across Product, ERP, SaaS and Enterprise Applications.
- Define cloud strategy and guide Azure/AWS migration, modernization, scalability, performance, security and cost optimization.
- Drive adoption of Microservices, APIs, Event-driven Architecture, Containers, Serverless, CI/CD and Distributed Systems.
- Identify and evaluate AI/GenAI opportunities and guide scalable implementations.
- Ensure technology decisions address security, compliance, risk, disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Work closely with Management, Engineering, Product, ERP, Delivery, Sales, BD and customers to align business and technology.
- Participate in strategic customer discussions, architecture workshops, solutioning and technical pre-sales for complex engagements.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to Architects, Tech Leads and Engineering teams.
- Review major solution architectures and ensure alignment with enterprise standards, roadmap, security, scalability, business and commercial objectives.
- Evaluate build vs buy vs partner decisions and technology investments based on business value, feasibility, ROI and cost.
