Job summary

Manchester International School is seeking an experienced IB English teacher to plan and deliver IB MYP/DP English lessons aligned with the IB curriculum. You will develop resources, assessments, and prepare students for IB examinations, while supporting writing, analysis, and research skills.

The role requires 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in IB/ international settings, and IB MYP/DP training or certification is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, English Literature, Education, or a related field.
• 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an IB or international school.
• Experience teaching IB MYP and/or DP English is preferred.
• IB MYP/DP training or certification will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of English language, literature, academic writing, and communication skills.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use technology and digital learning tools effectively.
• Passion for inquiry-based and student-centred learning.
