Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Technical Lead / Lead Engineer for Aero Engine within Bengaluru, India. The role demands 8–15 years of aerospace experience and deep knowledge of aero engine modules, manufacturing engineering, and engineering change processes.

You will guide cross-functional teams, conduct root cause analyses, and mentor junior engineers while interfacing with major OEMs. Strong CAD/PLM skills (CATIA V5, Teamcenter, NX) are essential.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience in Aerospace Engineering with strong Aero Engine domain knowledge.
• Experience with engine modules including compressors, combustors, turbines, casings, seal segments, and structural components.
• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Concessions, Non-Conformance Management, and Engineering Change Management.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, GD&T, engineering drawings, and configuration management.
• Experience in technical investigations, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead aero engine engineering tasks across design, manufacturing engineering, concessions, and change management.
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and project teams.
• Perform engineering assessments, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Review deliverables for customer requirements, standards, and quality.
• Support non-conformance management, concession requests, and engineering change implementation.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, stress, and program management teams.
• Participate in customer technical discussions, design reviews, and status meetings.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, technical reports, and work instructions.
• Support estimation, planning, risk identification, and continuous improvement.

Role Summary

Lead technical execution of aero engine engineering activities, ensuring high-quality deliverables, adherence to customer requirements, and on-time project completion. The role requires strong expertise in aero engine components, manufacturing engineering, non-conformance management, concessions, design changes, and technical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute aero engine engineering tasks across design, manufacturing engineering, concessions, and change management activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience working with aerospace OEMs such as Rolls‑Royce, GE Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, Safran, Airbus, or Boeing.
