Adobe in India is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Program Manager to lead the end-to-end development and delivery of Document Cloud products. You will plan, coordinate across engineering, product, security, and legal teams, and ensure schedules and milestones are met.
You will mentor teams, champion agile practices, manage risks, and drive continuous process improvements. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential to align diverse groups toward common goals.
Individual Contributor – Senior Engineering Program Manager to manage and track the development and implementation process of the Document Cloud Group products and services. The role involves planning, coordination, and collaboration across departmental or cross‑functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products.
The role captures the full program life cycle from initiation through delivery, including planning & directing schedules, monitoring risks, and timely reporting challenges. Organizes cross‑functional activities, ensuring product on schedule and within defined constraints. Collaborates tightly with Product Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Design, Security, Legal and partner teams to manage relationships and deliver technology solutions. Drives strategic and tactical decisions, partners across program, product, and subject boundaries, manages dependencies, defines schedules, and drives alignment. Leads large cross‑functional projects from inception through delivery. Supports continuous process improvement for team efficiency. Provides project clarity and transparency through status reporting. Acts as an agile coach and mentor to support teams in growing efficiency and productivity. Knowledge and experience on AI tools will be an added advantage.
Requires minimum 10+ years’ experience as a Program Manager in SaaS or related industry. Proven ability to work effectively with highly technical engineering teams and provide structure and vital processes without compromising execution. Experience leading multi‑functional teams through influence. Proficient with development methodologies and tactics for roadmap, backlog, and development management. Customer‑focused and able to rapidly test and validate products and features. Ambitious, with a strong bias to action and a proven track record of tackling unknowns. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem‑solving, and conflict resolution skills. Experience managing projects with geographically dispersed team members. Ability to align efforts of disparate groups to achieve a common goal. Outstanding speaking, writing, and presentation skills. BTech/MTech in Computer Science or related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
