Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Vadodara is seeking an Engineering Officer - Civil & Structural with 3 to 8 years of experience. The role focuses on design and engineering for concrete and steel structures and related concrete work.

The incumbent will prepare design basis, standards, specifications, and guidelines for civil/structural activities, finalize data for detailed engineering, and review fabrication drawings. Will coordinate with project teams for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret design concepts into practical layouts.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer concrete and steel structures; provide inputs for related concrete work.
• Prepare and implement design basis, standards, specifications and guidelines for civil/structural activities on projects and operations.
• Develop and implement design basis, standards, specifications, and guidelines for civil/structural engineering tasks.
• Finalize feed data for detailed engineering, layouts, levels, elevations and material selection.
• Review and check fabrication drawings, including bolted and welded structural connections.
• Prepare load data lists, perform load calculations, and carry out structural analysis and design.
• Estimate quantities for FEED engineering and support proposal evaluation.
• Ensure constructability and safety compliance; apply best practices in design finalization.
• Monitor project progress; coordinate with consultants and project teams for timely completion and cost control.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and support structural surveys, restoration and retrofitting activities.
