Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Vadodara invites an Engineering Officer - Civil & Structural with 3–8 years of experience to contribute to design and engineering of concrete and steel structures, ensuring adherence to design basis, standards and guidelines.

You will finalize feed data for detailed engineering, review fabrication drawings, perform load calculations, and support project teams to ensure timely completion and cost control while maintaining safety and constructability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E Civil) is required.
• 3–8 years of relevant civil/structural engineering experience.
• Experience with concrete and steel structures and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineering activities for concrete and steel structures.
• Prepare and implement design basis, standards, specifications and guidelines.
• Finalize feed data for detailed engineering, layouts, levels and materials.
• Review fabrication drawings, including bolted and welded connections.
• Perform load calculations, structural analysis and design.
• Estimate FEED quantities and support proposal evaluation.
• Ensure constructability and safety compliance during design finalization.
• Monitor progress, coordinate with consultants and teams for timely delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and support surveys, restoration and retrofitting.

• Responsible for design & engineering related activities of Concrete & Steel Structures and provide inputs for related Concrete work.
• Responsible for preparation & implementation of design basis, standards, specifications and guidelines for civil / structural engineering related activities for Projects and operation work.
• Prepare and implement design basis, standards, specifications, and guidelines for civil/structural engineering activities.
• Finalize feed data for detailed engineering, layouts, levels, elevations, and material selection.
• Review and check fabrication drawings, including bolted and welded structural connections.
• Prepare load data lists, perform load calculations, and carry out structural analysis and design.
• Estimate quantities for FEED engineering and support proposal evaluation.
• Ensure constructability, safety compliance, and apply best practices during design finalization.
• Monitor project progress, coordinate with consultants and project teams for timely completion and cost control.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and support structural surveys, restoration, and retrofitting activities.
