Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy invites applications for the position of Engineering Officer - Civil & Structural. Based in Vadodara, you will lead design and engineering activities for concrete and steel structures, and contribute to FEED and project execution.

The ideal candidate holds a BE in Civil, 3–8 years of experience, and can prepare load data, perform structural analysis, review drawings, and ensure safety and constructability during design finalization.

Qualifications

• B.E in Civil is required.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in civil/structural design.
• Experience with concrete and steel structures.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for design & engineering related activities of Concrete & Steel Structures.
• Prepare and implement design basis, standards, specifications and guidelines.
• Finalize feed data for detailed engineering, layouts, levels and material selection.
• Review fabrication drawings, including bolted and welded connections.
• Prepare load data lists and perform structural analysis and design.
• Ensure constructability and safety during design finalization.
• Monitor progress and coordinate with consultants and project teams.

Role & Responsibilities

• Responsible for design & engineering related activities of Concrete & Steel Structures and provide inputs for related Concrete work.

• Prepare and implement design basis, standards, specifications, and guidelines for civil/structural engineering activities.
• Finalize feed data for detailed engineering, layouts, levels, elevations, and material selection.
• Review and check fabrication drawings, including bolted and welded structural connections.
• Prepare load data lists, perform load calculations, and carry out structural analysis and design.
• Estimate quantities for FEED engineering and support proposal evaluation.
• Ensure constructability, safety compliance, and apply best practices during design finalization.
• Monitor project progress, coordinate with consultants and project teams for timely completion and cost control.
