Job summary

Pine Labs in Noida is seeking an Engineering Manager for QA and SRE to drive automation-first quality and reliable services across critical journeys. You will design scalable test automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, API, and microservices, and lead adoption of Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Rest Assured, and JMeter.

You will establish an enterprise observability strategy, implement SLA/SLI/SLOs, and build dashboards with Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Quality Engineering, Production Reliability, SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• 5+ years leading QA, Automation, SRE, or Platform Engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Monitoring, and Reliability Engineering.
• Strong experience managing high-volume transaction systems, fintech, payments, banking, e-commerce, or highly available digital platforms.

Role Purpose

We are looking for Engineering Manager QA and SRE.Automation Excellence (Must Have)- Drive an Automation-First Quality Engineering strategy with > 90% automation coverage across critical business journeys.- Design and govern scalable test automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, API, Microservices, Performance, and Integration testing.- Lead adoption of modern automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Rest Assured, Karate, JMeter, and k6.- Integrate automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster releases.- Define and track automation KPIs including automation coverage, execution efficiency, defect leakage, and release readiness.- Leverage AI-powered testing, self-healing automation, predictive quality analytics, and intelligent test selection to improve engineering productivity.- Drive shift-left and shift-right testing practices across the development lifecycle.

Observability & Reliability Engineering

Must Have- Establish enterprise-wide Observability Strategy covering Metrics, Logs, Traces, Events, and User Experience Monitoring.- Build and maintain comprehensive monitoring, dashboards, alerting, and reliability frameworks for critical Define and implement SLA, SLI, SLO, Error Budgets, Reliability KPIs, and Service Health metrics.- Lead implementation of observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk, Datadog, Recent Relic, Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, and AppDynamics.- Drive proactive anomaly detection, predictive alerting, capacity management, and performance engineering Implement end-to-end transaction monitoring, synthetic monitoring, business KPI monitoring, and customer experience monitoring.- Reduce MTTD, MTTR, incident volume, and customer-impacting production issues through observability-driven engineering.

Required Experience

10+ years in Quality Engineering, Production Reliability, SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.- 5+ years leading QA, Automation, SRE, or Platform Engineering teams.- Proven experience building large-scale automation frameworks and enterprise observability solutions.- Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Monitoring, and Reliability Engineering.- Strong experience managing high-volume transaction systems, fintech, payments, banking, e-commerce, or highly available digital
