As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in defining and implementing quality strategies across the product lifecycle. You will work closely with engineering, product, and other cross-functional teams to design effective test approaches, build scalable automation frameworks, and ensure reliable product releases.

The role requires strong practical experience withPlaywright, excellent programming capabilities, and experience testing APIs, developer-facing applications, or CLI-based products. You will also contribute to CI/CD automation, defect investigation, test coverage improvement, and continuous enhancement of QA practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities and contribute to the overall quality strategy for products and features.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalableautomated test suites using Playwright.
• Create comprehensive functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end test cases.
• Test developer-facing products, APIs, CLI tools, and complex software workflows.
• Develop reliable automation scripts usingJava, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript.
• Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks and testing utilities.
• Integrate automated tests intoCI/CD pipelinesand ensure reliable continuous testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and identify potential quality risks.
• Perform detailed defect analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 5+ years of experiencein QA, software testing, or quality engineering, including experience leading QA initiatives.
• Strong hands-on experience withPlaywrightand modern test automation practices.
• Proven experience testingAPIs, CLI tools, developer-facing products, or large-scale applications.
• Strong programming skills inJava, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript.
• Extensive experience writing, maintaining, and optimising automated test cases.

• Comfortable working in astartup or fast-paced product environment.
• Experience withNode.js, Electron applications, and Git-based development workflowsis an advantage.
