WSA – Wonderful Sound for All in Hyderabad, India, seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the CIAM engineering team within our R&D / Digital Platform Engineering organisation.

You will guide a high-performing agile product team delivering secure, scalable CIAM capabilities in close collaboration with a Europe-based Technical Product Manager, architects, security experts, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading software engineering teams.
• Experience with agile delivery methods and product-oriented development.
• Experience delivering or operating SaaS/cloud-native platforms.
• Strong communication skills in English across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the CIAM engineering team in Hyderabad, coaching engineers and fostering ownership.
• Drive agile product delivery with sprint planning, backlog refinement, and forecasting.
• Promote secure, maintainable, scalable SaaS platforms with high code quality and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers on technical direction and platform evolution.
• Establish a you-build-it you-run-it mindset with observability and reliability improvements.
• Ensure security, privacy and compliance throughout the delivery lifecycle with stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to build and lead our Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) engineering team in Hyderabad, India, within our Research & Development / Digital Platform Engineering organisation. In this role, you will lead a high-performing agile product team delivering secure, scalable CIAM capabilities in close collaboration with a Europe-based Technical Product Manager, architects, security experts, and business stakeholders, combining people leadership with engineering and operational excellence.

What You Will Do

• Build and lead the CIAM engineering team in Hyderabad, recruiting, coaching, and developing engineers, and creating a culture of ownership, trust, and continuous learning
• Drive agile product delivery, including sprint and release planning, backlog refinement, dependency management, and delivery forecasting
• Promote modern software engineering practices for secure, maintainable, and scalable SaaS platforms, including high standards for code quality, test automation, CI/CD, and architecture alignment
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers on technical direction, solution design, and platform evolution
• Establish a “you build it, you run it” mindset for the CIAM platform, driving observability, monitoring, incident response, and continuous reliability improvements
• Ensure security, privacy, and compliance requirements are considered throughout the delivery lifecycle, working with Information Security, Legal, and Architecture stakeholders on secure authentication, authorization, and access control capabilities.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on experience in modern software development environments
• 3+ years of experience leading, managing, or growing software engineering teams
• Experience with agile delivery methods and product-oriented software development
• Experience delivering or operating SaaS, cloud-native, or platform-based software products
• Good people leadership skills, including coaching, performance management, and capability development
• Good communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones.
