Qualifications

Role Summary

Engineering Manager will lead a team of Technical Engineers and Lead Engineers (2 to 12 years experience), ensuring delivery of high-quality structural engineering solutions across Industrial, Energy, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Power, Manufacturing, and Building Construction projects. The role combines technical leadership, people management, project delivery, stakeholder management, and resource planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Technical Engineers and Lead Engineers.
• Manage project allocation, workload balancing, performance reviews, and team development.
• Ensure timely delivery of structural designs, calculations, drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables for quality, safety, and code compliance.
• Drive adherence to international standards, customer specifications, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams, project managers, sales teams, and customers.
• Support technical proposals, RFQs, RFIs, and value engineering initiatives.
• Manage project risks, resource planning, and project execution schedules.
• Foster continuous improvement, technical excellence, and innovation within the engineering team.
• Act as the primary escalation point for technical and project-related challenges.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong background in Structural/Civil Engineering with experience in steel structure design.
• Hands-on experience with structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, RSTAB, ETABS or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of international structural codes and standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD 3D, Inventor, or FEM tools is an advantage.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects and teams.
