Job summary

Magna Seating is seeking a capable engineer to lead and support the engineering function, ensuring alignment with the company's quality system and design controls. You will collaborate with design, process, production and quality teams to optimize seating systems, analyze methods for efficiency, and drive reliable, safe product designs for global automotive applications.

• Analyzes production methods to ensure time and cost goals are reached.
• Provides technical guidance on most complex projects.
• Establishes and enforces procedures for maintaining high standards of quality, reliability and safety in product designs and applications.
• Evaluates and develops improved techniques for the control of product designs, quality, reliability and safety.
• Works with customers to ensure products conform to their requirements and meet the customers needs.
• Implements and maintains design control procedures, reporting on engineering performance and improvements.
• Communicates with other engineering functions including design, process, production and quality.

Job Responsibilities
