The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise, and the ability to manage multi‑functional teams while engaging with stakeholders, customers, ODMs, and suppliers. This role requires a proactive, innovative leader who can drive technical excellence, ensure successful project execution, and contribute to the development of cutting‑edge automotive solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Manage team performance through regular reviews, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
• Ensure seamless coordination within the team and across departments to drive successful project outcomes.

Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring alignment with business and technical expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, ODMs, suppliers, and third‑party vendors, ensuring smooth execution of projects.
• Provide regular project updates, address concerns, and facilitate effective communication between the engineering team and customers.

Technical Oversight & Development

• Provide technical guidance and support to the team, leveraging expertise in development languages such as C/C++ and Java.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, ensuring high‑quality and timely delivery.
• Stay abreast of automotive industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant advancements into the team's work.
• Ensure seamless coordination across software, firmware, cloud, and mobile application development teams.
• Drive best practices in architecture, design, and software development processes to improve quality and efficiency.

Project & Program Management

• Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop and execute project plans, track progress, and proactively address risks and roadblocks.
• Ensure successful integration of embedded software, cloud solutions, mobile applications, and hardware components.

System Understanding & Innovation

• Possess a comprehensive understanding of end‑to‑end automotive systems, including embedded software, cloud, and mobile applications.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12–14 years of experience in automotive software engineering, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
