SwitchON, a Bangalore-based Series B startup, is seeking a Lead Engineer for Computer Vision and QA to own the full development lifecycle of our DeepInspect edge AI solution on the factory floor.

You will lead AI/embedded teams, architect data processing and model deployment, and drive OTA updates for global plants. Join a fast-paced, impact-driven culture with equity and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering with at least 2 years in management.
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms and OS fundamentals.
• Strong Python development and on-prem/air-gapped deployment experience.
• Experience building RESTful APIs with FastAPI/Flask/Django.
• Experience in data processing pipelines and system architecture (HLD/LLD).
• Familiarity with deep learning models and Computer Vision applications.
• Experience deploying applications on edge systems and CI/CD/unit testing.

The Role: Lead Engineering, Computer Vision, and QA teams to build and deploy DeepInspect, our edge AI-enabled solution for manufacturing quality checks. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering (2+ years in management).
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
• Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, OS).
• Strong Python application development and on-prem/air-gapped deployment experience.
• Experience building/maintaining RESTful APIs (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• Solid experience in data processing pipeline and system architecture (HLD & LLD) design.
• Familiarity with deep learning models, libraries, and Computer Vision applications.
• Strong understanding of deploying applications on edge systems.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal); experience with Linux and CI/CD/unit testing.
