Job summary

Anais Anaira AI in Bengaluru seeks an experienced engineer to architect AI-powered, agentic systems at scale for enterprise use. You will lead architecture, delivery and teams in a startup setting with high ownership, driving backend excellence and cross-domain payments domain knowledge.

The role focuses on building scalable, event-driven architectures and mentoring high-performance teams to deliver high-quality engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as an engineer building AI-powered, agentic systems at scale.
• Strong backend expertise (Java or Kotlin preferred).
• Experience in banking/payments/lending/insurance domains.
• Ability to lead teams and transition to engineering manager.
• Proven track record in architecture, delivery, and engineering culture.

• Experience in banking / payments / lending / insurance domains.
• Strong backend expertise (Java / Kotlin preferred).
• Deep understanding of data consistency, concurrency, and transactions.
• Exposure to AI/ML integrations + agent-based systems.
• Ability to thrive in startup environments with high ownership.
• Proven experience as an engineering manager/tech lead transitioning to EM.
• Strong background in product-based companies or early-stage startups (must-have).
• Experience building and scaling backend or full-stack systems.
• Ability to drive architecture, execution, and team ownership end-to-end.
• Strong focus on delivery and quality and engineering culture.
