Job summary

Landmark Digital, part of Landmark Group, seeks an experienced Senior Engineering Manager in Bengaluru to lead enterprise-grade microservices and cross-functional delivery in an Agile Scrum environment.

You will partner with Product, Architects, Operations and other delivery teams to drive technical roadmaps, ensure quality, and scale platforms for e-commerce and omnichannel experiences across geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 12–15 years of experience and 4+ years in Engineering Management.
• Strong experience in microservice architecture and domain-driven design.
• Proficient with RESTful services and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Hands-on coding with Java, Node.js or Go and web/mobile app stacks.
• Experience leading Agile Scrum teams and delivering enterprise-grade software.
• Experience in eCommerce or omnichannel platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-grade microservices.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards in Agile Scrum.
• Collaborate with Product, Architects, Operations, and other delivery teams for launches.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise grade microservices
• Deliver assigned projects within budgeted time, cost and agreed quality standards in Agile Scrum environment
• Partner with Product Management, Architects, Operations, other delivery teams and Release Management to ensure effective launch and delivery of projects to satisfy business needs
• Lead teams to ensure project delivery success
• Apply best‑practices and coding patterns that ensure world‑class solutions that are maintainable, modular, and of high code‑quality
• You work with designers, business analysts, and product managers to estimate and plan projects in an Agile environment.
• Help define Technical Roadmap and own the entire product delivery end to end.
• Create a culture that insists on meeting expectations and delivering value
• Drive automated solutions that enable better efficiency and process improvement
• Grow and manage the skills and talent in the team
• Manage communication cross‑functionally and elevate promptly as issues arise
• Excellent problem‑solving skills

You Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree with 12 – 15 years related experience, of which at least 8+ years in development, 4+ years of Engineering Management role and leading scrum teams.
• Experience in micro service architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful Services using languages such as Java, Node, or Go
• Experience working in a distributed/cloud-based environment (e.g. Azure, Amazon, Rackspace, GCP etc.)
• Exposure to continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests. Continuous delivery experience preferred.
• Experience in eCommerce domain is a plus
• Strong hands‑on knowledge and experience in design and coding
• Hands on experience in Java, J2ee technologies.
• Experience with Web applications development using Java and MVC
• Experience in managing and rolling out React Native, Android and iOS applications.
• Experience with massive‑scale performance and scalability engineering
Must have extensive experience managing projects with Agile Scrum methodology
• Must be confident, highly motivated and passionate about delivery and customer satisfaction
