Job summary

Teradata seeks an experienced Manager, AI Engineering to lead next‑gen AI products. You will drive design, architecture, and delivery, while mentoring staff and senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 11+ years in large scale product development, distributed systems, or AI/ML, managing teams and senior engineering talent.
• Strong problem solving skills, familiarity with AI/ML technologies, including LLMs and agentic AI systems.
• Expertise in microservices development, RESTful APIs, cloud technologies, SDLC, CI/CD, observability and production operations.
• Experience building high quality products in fast-paced technology environments.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a Manager, AI Engineering, you will lead Teradata’s highly visible, next generation AI products. In this role, you will:

You will work closely with engineering teams, product leaders, AI/ML experts, cloud architects, and customer facing teams across Teradata. This role reports to a senior technology leader and plays a critical part in defining Teradata’s future in AI driven enterprise solutions.

• Strong ability to navigate ambiguity, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and drive alignment across teams.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to varied audiences.
