About the Opportunity

EPIK Technology is hiring on behalf of a high-growth AI legal-tech innovator that is transforming how legal services are delivered in India. Leveraging Generative AI, the company streamlines tasks like legal research, document review, due diligence, and risk analysis—already serving elite law firms such as S&R Associates, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Luthra, and Trilegal.

We’re looking for a dynamic and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead, scale, and empower a talented team of developers. If you're passionate about bridging product vision with technical execution and thrive in a fast-paced environment where law meets AI, this role is for you.

What You'll Be DoingProduct & Project Leadership

Understand complex legal-tech problems and curate technical solutions with scalability in mind.
Translate product requirements into actionable engineering tasks.
Coordinate closely with product managers and founders to align development efforts with business objectives.

Team Management

Lead and mentor a growing team of 5–15 engineers, guiding them on development best practices.
Drive sprint planning, task breakdowns, and progress tracking to ensure on-time delivery.
Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and accountability.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Act as a liaison between tech, product, client success, and leadership teams.
Evaluate and ensure the technical feasibility of product features.
Participate in client interactions to gather feedback and improve product usability.

What We’re Looking ForTechnical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in MERN Stack, Python, and Azure.
Solid grasp of system design, software architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).

Profile Requirements

6+ years of total experience, with at least 1 year in a product management or leadership role.
Proven ability to manage and mentor developer teams (5–10+ members).
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
