Job Description

Role: Engineering Manager – Intelligent Automation

Experience: 10-15 yrs

Work Location: Bangalore

Position Responsibilities: Experienced Engineering Manager to lead the development of our cutting-edge Intelligent Business Process Automation Platform. This platform leverages Azure, Kubernetes, MongoDB, SQL, Python and AI/LLMs to transform how businesses automate and optimize their operations.

You will lead a high-performing team of 12–15 engineers, collaborate closely with business stakeholders, and drive the build of innovative features that align with strategic goals.

Experience With The Following Technologies

Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Platform Evolution: Drive the evolution of the platform’s architecture to support scalability, reliability, and performance.
Technical Oversight: Make architectural decisions and ensure best practices in cloud-native development, container orchestration, and AI integration.
Project Management: Own the end-to-end delivery of features and enhancements, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
Quality & Security: Champion code quality, testing, and security standards across the engineering team
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define roadmaps, and prioritize development efforts.

Required Skills & Experience With

Cloud & Infrastructure:

Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services and architecture
Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment

Backend & Data:

Strong command of Python for backend development and scripting
Experience with MongoDB and SQL databases for data modeling and querying

AI & Automation:

Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-driven automation including working with intelligent extraction of unstructured and structured data, RAG frameworks
Understanding of intelligent workflow and business process automation concepts

Leadership & Communication:

Proven ability to lead and scale engineering teams
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration\
Strong stakeholder management and product thinking

Development Practices:

Strong fundamentals and experience in Enterprise Platform design principles
Hands-on experience with Technical Architectural design, CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and agile methodologies
Commitment to code quality, testing, and security best practices

Attributes

Good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to independently prepare and present high quality technical and business relevant content
Published technical papers or prior IP relevant to this role would be an added advantage
