Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline.
• 20–25 years of offshore oil & gas experience.
• Proven Engineering Manager or leadership experience.
• Strong FPSO operations and maintenance background.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage diverse engineering teams.
• Master’s degree or relevant certification is an advantage.

The role will be responsible for managing engineering operations and maintenance activities, ensuring the safe, efficient, reliable, and compliant performance of engineering systems, equipment, and machinery onboard the FPSO.

What you will do

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the engineering team, ensuring effective management of engineering operations and maintenance activities on the FPSO.
• Oversee engineering activities and teams supporting FPSO operations and maintenance.
• Plan, organize, and direct activities to ensure safe, efficient, reliable, and compliant energy operations.
• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and strategies to optimize the performance and reliability of engineering systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Make or approve major operating, business, engineering, and maintenance decisions.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and risks and implement corrective measures.
• Manage and oversee planned and unplanned maintenance activities, minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Safety, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering processes and operations.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the engineering team while fostering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
• Communicate with key stakeholders to establish Operations & Maintenance goals, objectives, and report on outcomes.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, engineering best practices, and regulatory requirements.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline.
• 20–25 years of overall experience, with significant experience in the offshore oil & gas industry.
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar engineering leadership role.
• Strong experience in FPSO operations and maintenance.
• Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, engineering principles, procedures, and best practices related to FPSO engineering operations and maintenance.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate diverse teams of engineers and technical professionals.
• Strategic mindset with a strong focus on delivering results within defined timelines and budgets.
• Master’s degree or relevant professional certification will be an advantage.
