Lam Research in Bengaluru seeks an Electrical Engineer 1 to design and develop electrical/electronic sub-systems for high-end semiconductor equipment. You will analyze designs with simulations, build prototypes, and lead testing to validate performance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across global regions and contribute to productivity upgrades, PLs, and EPLs, while aligning with Lam’s standards and processes.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or EEE with 65% aggregate.
• Graduating in 2027 with no backlogs.
• Hands-on prototyping and assembly experience.
• Schematic development using CAD tools and circuit simulation.

The group you’ll be a part ofLam Research is a leading global manufacturer of capital equipment used in making leading-edge-semiconductors across the world. We primarily compete in four specific areas – deposition, etch, photoresist strip, and single wafer clean. Lam Research India team is organized into three major areas of responsibility: Hardware, Software, and Operations. One of the major functional group of this entity is LIGHT (Lam India Global Hardware Technology). The LIGHT group, designs subassemblies and subsystems for Lam’s product lines, providing innovation for the next-generation products, providing improvements in cost and reliability There is an opening for the role of Electrical Engineer 1 within the Customer Support Business Group (CSBG) of LIGHT organization. This position will be based out of Bangalore and will closely be working with the Engineering & Cross functional teams across global regions of Lam Research like US & India. CSBG mainly focuses on delivering value to customers throughout the product lifecycle by providing Spares, Upgrades and services to maximize the value of customer capital assets. This high energy individual will focus on development and support for Productivity and Technology Upgrades to our global customers through engineering projects (EPLs/PPLs) for Dextro, Etch & Dep product lines. Deliver against corporate metrics and business objectives while providing timely solutions to global customers.
