Trust and Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of the products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and the partners from abuse across Google Ads products. On this team, you are a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote users’ trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.
In this role, you will lead a high-performing team fighting adversarial actors in Google Ads. You will apply your data science and fraud detection leadership to drive AI transformation, developing scaled solutions to protect users from complex threats like malware and cloaking. Work closely with cross-functional partners in Ads Safety, AP Engineering, and gTech, architect defense-in-depth strategies that balance user safety with a streamlined advertiser experience. Lead the development of advanced AI-driven clustering models, establish robust evaluation frameworks for Agentic AI, and pioneer rigorous false-negative measurement methodologies. Oversee the training of next-generation AI Agents/ML models and advocating site-wide AI upskilling, scale our defensive capabilities, ensuring we stay one step ahead of evolving adversaries.
