Job summary

Health Catalyst is seeking an Engineering Analyst, Associate to support data-driven healthcare improvement projects in India. You will design solutions, map data, and help implement analytics pipelines for client environments.

The role emphasizes data quality, requirement clarification, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver on project milestones while following privacy and HIPAA-aligned policies.

Qualifications

• UG requirement: BCA in Computers or equivalent; PG: MCA in Computers.
• Strong analytical, documenting and data mapping abilities.
• Familiarity with SQL and basic programming/scripting.

Responsibilities

• Support design, setup and implementation of technical solutions based on client needs.
• Work with project leads to clarify and document requirements.
• Create and maintain data mapping docs, implementation guides and best practices.
• Analyze client data to design solutions, mappings and integrations.
• Perform data quality checks for accuracy and completeness.
• Support system configuration, testing and UAT, resolving issues.
• Identify out-of-scope requests and communicate to teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and implementation teams to resolve data/integration issues.
• Complete tasks and deliverables on time to meet milestones.
• Provide updates on progress, risks and dependencies, escalating when needed.
• Help improve implementation processes, docs and tools.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams via clear communication.

Job Title: Engineering Analyst, Associate.

Role Responsibilities

• Support the design, setup, and implementation of technical solutions based on client and business needs.
• Work with project leads and other teams to understand, clarify, and document business and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain data mapping documents, implementation guides, processes, and best practices.
• Analyze client data to create solution design, data mapping, and integration requirements.
• Perform data quality checks to ensure data is accurate, complete, and follows required specifications.
• Work on system configuration, testing, and client User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and help identify and resolve issues.
• Identify requirements or client requests that are outside the agreed project scope and communicate them to the appropriate teams.
• Work with engineering, product, implementation, and other teams to investigate and resolve data, integration, and production issues.
• Complete assigned tasks and project deliverables accurately and on time to meet project milestones.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, dependencies, and issues, andescalate concerns when needed.
• Help improve implementation processes, documentation, tools, and best practices to make future projects more efficient.
• Build strong working relationships with internal teams through clear communication, collaboration, and accountability.
• Follow all applicable privacy, security, data protection, and HIPAA policies and procedures.
