Job summary

Egis Road Operation India is seeking a Civil Engineer to support infrastructure projects, focusing on wet utilities design and drainage systems. The role involves preparing technical drawings, reports, and ensuring compliance with local regulations while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The candidate should have a Civil Engineering background with 3+ years of wet utilities experience and proficiency in software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPANET, WaterCAD, and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of Wet Utilities experience.
• Experience in design of Wet Utilities including potable water, sewer, storm, irrigation, district cooling, and firefighting.
• Proficient with software: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPANET, WaterCAD, InfoWorks, SewerCAD, StormCAD, SWMM.
• Experience with ArcGIS, MicroStation, MicroDrainage, HAMMER is a plus.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering Infrastructure projects, supporting project leaders in delivering successful outcomes.
• Prepare and review detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation
• Prepare reports calculations and design documentation
• Conduct technical and quality reviews of projects, identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Develop and assess surface water drainage systems to ensure efficient stormwater management and adherence to local regulations.
• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modeling to inform design decisions and evaluate the impacts of drainage systems

What do we need from you

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Wet Utilities.
• Experience in designu of Wet Utilities including Potable Water, Sewer, Storm, Irrigation, District cooling, and Firefighting.
• Working knowledge of relevant software packages like HEC HMS, HEC RAS, EPANET, WaterCAD, InfoWorks, SewerCAD, StormCAD, SWMM.
• Experience and familiarity with the following programs are a plus: ArcGIS, MicroStation, MicroDrainage, HAMMER.
• Prepare design using Civil 3D software for BIM environment.
• Knowledge of clash resolution of utilities modeling software like Navisworks, Bentley Navigator, Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and lead large-scale projects.
