Job summary

Egis is seeking a Civil Engineer in Bengaluru to contribute to Wet Utilities design and project delivery, including potable water, sewer, stormwater, irrigation, district cooling, and firefighting systems. You will work within multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 3+ years of relevant experience, and familiarity with HEC HMS, HEC RAS, EPANET, WaterCAD, InfoWorks, and Civil 3D in a BIM environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Wet Utilities.
• Experience in design of Wet Utilities including Potable Water, Sewer, Storm, Irrigation, District cooling, and Firefighting.

• Prepare and review detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation
• Prepare reports calculations and design documentation
• Conduct technical and quality reviews of projects, identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Develop and assess surface water drainage systems to ensure efficient stormwater management and adherence to local regulations.
• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modeling to inform design decisions and evaluate the impacts of drainage systems

• Working knowledge of relevant software packages like HEC HMS, HEC RAS, EPANET, WaterCAD, InfoWorks, SewerCAD, StormCAD, SWMM.
• Experience and familiarity with the following programs are a plus: ArcGIS, MicroStation, MicroDrainage, HAMMER.
• Prepare design using Civil 3D software for BIM environment.
• Knowledge of clash resolution of utilities modeling software like Navisworks, Bentley Navigator, Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and lead large-scale projects.
