Job summary

WSP in India is seeking an Engineer specialized in Plant and Piping design for Water and Wastewater projects, with a strong focus on Digital Delivery and coordination with design engineers and digital teams across India and New Zealand.

The Engineer will take ownership of design, 3D modelling, drafting and preparation of design documentation for water supply and wastewater infrastructure, including treatment plants, pump stations, and piping networks, supporting projects through all design

Qualifications

• Experience with Plant 3D piping designs and models.
• Proficiency in CAD outputs and construction-ready drawings.
• Familiarity with Revit and Civil 3D modelling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Plant 3D piping designs and models, including layouts, profiles, long sections and detailed drawings.
• Prepare design documentation for water supply and wastewater infrastructure.
• Collaborate with design engineers and digital teams to ensure high quality CAD deliverables.

Job description

The suitable candidate for this role is an Engineer specializing in Plant and Piping design for Water and Wastewater projects, with a strong focus on Digital Delivery. The role involves close coordination with design engineers and digital teams across India and New Zealand, supporting project delivery through high-quality CAD and 3D modelling outputs.

The Engineer will take ownership of design, 3D modelling, drafting, and preparation of design documentation for water supply and wastewater (sewerage and drainage) infrastructure, including treatment plants, pump stations, and associated piping networks. The role supports projects across all stages, from concept and preliminary design through to detailed design and construction documentation.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining Plant 3D piping designs and models, including layouts, profiles, long sections, and detailed drawings, while ensuring compliance with project standards, digital requirements, and specifications. Experience in Revit 3D modelling and Civil 3D modelling will be an added advantage. The role focuses on delivering accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready design & CAD deliverables that meet client requirements and project expectations.
