Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with frontend framework knowledge (React/Angular).
• Working knowledge of Node.js and backend development.
• Understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations.
• Basic knowledge of MySQL and MongoDB.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Engineer Trainee to join the Platform Development Team at L&T EduTech. The role involves contributing to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications and digital platforms. The candidate will work closely with experienced developers and cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and user-friendly technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications and platform solutions.
• Develop and enhance frontend components using React, Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Support backend development using Node.js, Express.js, and related technologies.
• Assist in building and integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB and MySQL for data management and application development.
• Support third-party API integrations and enhancement of existing platform functionalities.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues to improve performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation activities.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA teams, and fellow developers to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Follow coding standards, version control practices, and software development best practices.
• Contribute to Agile/Scrum activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Explore emerging technologies, including AI/LLM-based applications, to support future platform enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Working knowledge of Node.js and backend application development.
• Understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations.
• Basic knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Git, software testing, debugging, and application development practices.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Python and frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Basic understanding of AI/LLM applications, RAG, and semantic search.
• Familiarity with Docker, AWS/Azure, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
