Job summary

Lumax Industries is seeking an experienced professional for the automotive lighting production line. The role emphasizes maintaining continuous flow, coordinating manpower for shifts, and ensuring adherence to quality and process standards.

You will deploy PDCA, drive TPM activities, and uphold safety and 5S practices while resolving shopfloor issues and driving productivity improvements. Prior experience in hard coat/base/top coat and metalizing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive lighting production.
• Hands-on exposure to hard coat, base coat, top coat and metalizing areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous manufacturing flow and zero-line stoppage in Assembly Shop.
• Plan manpower and resources for the shift operation.
• Adhere to quality parameters and process controls during production.
• Implement PDCA and achieve the production plan.
• Ensure TPM activities and safety; promote 5S in the department.
• Conduct why-why analyses to reduce rejections and machine breakdowns.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Ensure continuous manufacturing flow and zero-line stoppage of Assembly Shop due to ST.
• 2. Manpower & resource planning for the shift operation.
• 3. Ensure all quality parameters are adhered (including FPA) while starting the production.
• 4. Deploy PDCA approach and achieve 100% production plan.
• 5. Ensure optimum utilization of equipment and resources to increase productivity.
• 6. Carryout why- why analyses of the problem and reduce rejection Level.
• 7. Ensure safe operation of machine and reduce machine breakdown.
• 8. Ensure production plan is achieved as plan received from PPC.
• 9. Ensure process quality standards are adhered as per control plan.
• 10. Ensure adherence to TPM activities.
• 11. Documentation and audit compliance related to IATF 16949, ISO-14001& EMS/OHSAS-18001.
• 12. Ensure safety standards are adhered while running the operations.
• 13. Resolve the problems and issues related to operation and people encountered during the shift.
• 14. Ensure workplace discipline, procedures and policies are observed by the employees at shopfloor.
• 15. Ensure Safety & 5S in the department.
• 16. Impart continuous on job training for accomplishing greater operational results.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate from Automotive lighting industry with minimum 5 years of experience in Hard coat, Base Coat, Top Coat and metalizing process will be preferred
