Job summary

HYKON INDIA LIMITED is seeking a QA/Procurement specialist to qualify suppliers, conduct process audits, and lead CAPA-driven improvements. You will coordinate inspections, testing, and approvals for new suppliers and components, monitor defects, and collaborate with IQC, Purchase, Production, and R&D teams to drive supplier quality performance.

The role requires a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, knowledge of PCB assemblies and electronic components, and strong analytical skills in root

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics or related electronics discipline.
• Familiarity with PCB assemblies and electronic components.
• Knowledge of quality tools and inspection/report preparation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and qualify new suppliers in coordination with Purchase and other departments.
• Conduct supplier process audits and assess capability, quality systems, and process controls.
• Coordinate sample inspection, testing, and validation before approving new suppliers or components for regular supply.
• Monitor supplier quality performance, incoming rejection trends, and recurring defects.
• Coordinate with suppliers to investigate quality issues and obtain root cause analysis and CAPA reports.
• Verify effectiveness of corrective actions through evidence, follow-up audits, and lot performance.
• Maintain supplier audit reports, qualification records, CAPA records, and approved supplier lists.
• Prepare supplier scorecards and track rejection rates, PPM, audit findings, and CAPA closure.
• Work with IQC, Purchase, Production, R&D, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve supplier performance.
• Ensure supplier quality activities comply with QMS and applicable quality standards.

Job description

Coordinate sample inspection, testing, and validation before approving new suppliers or components forregular supply.

Prepare supplier scorecards and track supplier rejection rates, PPM, audit findings, and corrective actionclosure.
Work closely with IQC, Purchase, Production, R&D, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and improvesupplier performance.
Ensure supplier quality activities comply with the Quality Management System and applicable qualitystandards.
