Valmont Structures is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing activities, assign tasks, and coordinate cross-functional collaboration to maintain output and quality. The role emphasizes safety, governance of SWA/CAPA processes, and hands-on training for team members.

Qualifications include a Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical engineering and a minimum of two years in manufacturing, with strong communication and supervisory abilities to lead a motivated crew.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the production crew to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure optimal use of manpower and equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure all team members follow safe work practices and wear PPE.
• Conduct safety inspections of work areas, equipment, and processes to identify hazards and mitigation actions.
• Lead by example with a strong commitment to safety in all operations.
• Maintain familiarity with emergency procedures and safety protocols.
• Document Stop Work Authority (SWA) incidents and ensure timely CAPA actions.
• Provide hands-on training and mentorship to team members.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
• Encourage housekeeping integration into daily routines and schedule periodic deep cleaning.
• Reinforce 5S principles to maintain efficiency and safety.
• Maintain records of production output, downtime, safety incidents, and training.

Role & responsibilities :

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the production crew to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure optimal use of manpower and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (maintenance, quality, logistics) to ensure smooth workflow and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure all team members follow safe work practices and wear appropriate PPE.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of work areas, equipment, and processes to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety in all operations.
• Ensure team familiarity with emergency procedures and safety protocols.
• Implement and document Stop Work Authority (SWA) incidents and ensure timely Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Provide hands-on training and mentorship to new and existing team members.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
• Encourage employees to integrate housekeeping into their daily routines to support a clean and organized work environment.
• Schedule and oversee periodic deep cleaning sessions beyond daily housekeeping tasks.
• Reinforce 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain workplace efficiency and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, safety incidents, and training activities.
• Provide regular updates to supervisors and participate in shift handovers and team meetings.

Preferred candidate profile :

Education : Diploma or B.Tech Mechanical

Experience :Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality systems.

Functional Skills : Good communication, team management, problem-solving skills and supervisory skills
