Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, and masonry building elements.
• Develop preliminary structural models using ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro or similar tools.
• Prepare design calculations, sketches and technical documentation under supervision.
• Support creation of structural drawings in coordination with CAD/BIM teams.
• Coordinate design information with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in reviewing drawings, specifications and shop drawings for compliance.
• Participate in project meetings and follow up on tasks.
• Conduct basic site inspections to understand construction practices.
• Assist in resolving RFIs from contractors and site teams.
• Maintain project documentation, logs, and design records.
• Ensure designs comply with IS codes, ACI, AISC, Eurocodes, etc.
• Follow internal quality processes, checklists, and workflows.
• Support senior engineers in structural safety checks and validations.

The Junior Structural Engineer will support the structural design and analysis of building projects under the guidance of senior engineers. The role involves preparing structural drawings, performing basic calculations, assisting in modeling, coordinating with other disciplines, and providing technical support throughout the design and construction phases. This position is ideal for early-career engineers looking to build strong technical foundations in structural engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, and masonry building elements.
• Develop preliminary structural models using software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, or similar tools.
• Prepare design calculations, sketches, and technical documentation under supervision.
