Job summary

ALPLA INC. in Telangana, India is seeking an experienced CNC operator to work on milling and lathe machines, with proficiency on Heidenheim controllers and basic 2D programming.

You will modify CNC programs, monitor cutting tools, and adjust tool and datum offsets, contributing to production optimization with the CAM team. Requirements include a Diploma in Tool & Dye Making (4 years) or equivalent technical metallurgical education, and at least 3 years of practical milling and lathe experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Tool & Dye making (4 years) or equivalent technical education.
• Minimum 3 years practical experience in milling and lathe operations.
• Basic knowledge to program CNC milling machines.
• Knowledge of Heidenheim controller and 2D programming is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Operate milling and lathe machines with Heidenheim controller.
• Modify CNC programs and execute changes on machines.
• Monitor cutting tools and correct tool/datum offsets as needed.
• Support CAM team with production optimization ideas.
• Maintain CNC machines and perform quality checks on self and machine.

• Should be experienced on Heidenheim controller
• Should be able to do 2D programming on the machine and execute the same
• Simply modification of CNC programs
• Monitoring of the cutting tools
• Correction of tool and datum offset data's
• Acknowledgement of production optimization to the CAM department/team leader
• Maintenance of the CNC machine. Quality checks – self, on the machine
• Knowledge on 5 axis machines, an added advantage
