Job summary
PeopleStrong is seeking an Engineer/Sr. Engineer/Asst. Manager Mine in Rajasthan for cement operations. You will oversee mine surveys, grade control, and closure planning in a hands-on capacity.
Role involves quarterly and annual surveys, updating statutory plans, drone surveys, and GIS data handling. 3–5 years of mining experience and knowledge of DEM, Datamine/Surpac, and SAP are preferred.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of mining experience in cement/mineral industry.
- Knowledge of mine closure planning, data mapping and survey methods.
- Diploma or degree in mining or related field (Dipl.-Ing preferred).
Responsibilities
- Quarterly & annual survey of Mines Pits & limestone stockyards and additives used in cement plant.
- Update statutory plans including surface, geological, production and environmental plans.
- Conduct slope stability surveys of Overburden dumps and limestone stocks.
- Coordinate drone surveys and upload data to IBM portal.
- Prepare shape files, KML/KMZ files for IBM and other agencies.
- Operate Total Station, GPS, DGPS and drone survey equipment.

- Update all statutory plans & sections like surface plan, geological plan & section, production plan, progressive Mine closure plan, conceptual plan & section, environmental plan,
- Conduct survey for slope stability of Overburden dumps and limestone stocks.
- Coordinates for drone survey of Mines & upload drone data in IBM portal.
- Preparation of shape file, KML/KMZ file for submission to IBM & other statutory agencies.
- Knowledge of operation of Total Station, GPS, DGPS, drone survey.
- Knowledge of digital elevation models (DEM), orthomosaics, or high-resolution satellite/drone imagery.
- Knowledge of Datamine / Surpac (block model preparation & updation) and SAP.
- Knowledge of Khasara & know about superimposing CAD file on Khasara map.
SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) along with Sustainability initiatives & System Compliances : Ensuring 100% compliance of all safety standards and all applicable recommendations related to their concerned area.
- Timely conducting scheduled CAPA round and reporting of accidents, incidents and near misses on occurrences in the area of concern in system.
- To implement improvement project to reduce repetitive problems/breakdown or losses.
- Timely submission of Kaizen, OPL, Good to fine, suggestion on system.
- To know about IMS and other systems requirement and documents for non-conformity in section during internal and external audits or assessments
