Job summary

Danfoss in India is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Software Tester to guide the team and independently write test cases and scripts based on software requirements. You will use LabVIEW and NI TestStand to execute tests, report results, and ensure adherence to quality processes.

The role requires 3+ years in embedded software testing, CLAD certification, and strong English communication. Familiarity with CAN protocols and test management tools is a plus.

The Impact You'll Make: Danfoss is looking for an experienced person with solid experience in Embedded Systems Software Testing using LabVIEW and TestStand in accordance with the Software Testing Life Cycle. This person will be responsible for guiding and coaching the team as well as independently writing test cases and developing scripts based on defined software requirements.

What We're Looking For

Education

• B.E/B. Tech/M.Tech/Master in Electronics/Telecommunications/Computer Science or equivalent
• Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) is mandatory; Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) preferred

Experience & Attributes

• 3 or more years of embedded software testing using LabVIEW and NI TestStand; creating test strategies
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English; specialized knowledge required
• Proficiency with LabVIEW, LabVIEW Realtime, and FPGA (basic)
• Experience with NI TestStand; understanding of CAN communication & protocols (UDS, KWP2000, CANopen, J1939)
• Experience with test specification management tools (Polarion or equivalent); change management tools (JIRA/VSTS); version control (SVN/GIT/Clearcase) and traceability tools (Reqtify or equivalent)
• Understanding of software architecture, design, test life cycle; SDLC, Agile Scrum
• Optional specialized knowledge: functional safety life‑cycle & management (applicable to software testing), safety standards (IEC‑61508, ISO‑26262, ISO‑25119, ISO‑13849)
• Basic Python programming
