Job summary

Hyosungtndindia is seeking an Engineer/Senior Engineer-Secondary Design to lead the primary design and engineering activities for high-voltage GIS switchgear, interpreting customer specifications to ensure IEC compliance.

You will prepare and review electrical drawings, address technical queries, and coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams for project execution, while mentoring a team of engineers and upholding industry standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6–14 years of experience in high-voltage switchgear or substation engineering.
• Strong knowledge of GIS products and IEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the primary design and engineering activities for high-voltage GIS switchgear.

Requirements

B.E./B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 6-14 years of experience in high-voltage switchgear or substation engineering.

Strong knowledge of GIS products and IEC standards.

Experience in handling technical queries and troubleshooting GIS equipment.

Background in the substation or switchgear industry is preferred.

Required Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Expertise in managing and coordinating design teams.
