Job summary

Ericsson in India seeks an Engineer/Senior Engineer for IMS/CS Core to lead maintenance activities and troubleshoot high-level issues in Core Network domains. You will coordinate configuration changes, hardware expansions, and RCA reporting, while ensuring service continuity and adherence to MSTOP processes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Core Network operations, strong SIP, IMS, and VoLTE expertise, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Core Network operations and support, particularly IMS/VoLTE.
• Experience with IMS, VoLTE, or Network Operations certifications (preferred).
• All academic credentials must be from recognized institutions and are subject to verification.

Responsibilities

• Perform configuration changes, hardware expansions, and troubleshooting for CS Core and IMS Core nodes (MSC, MGW, HLR, HSS, STP, SBC, UDM, P-CSCF, I-CSCF, S-CSCF, ATS, MGCF, MRFP, CG, ENUM, DRA, UPG).
• Ensure actions follow approved processes (MSTOP).
• Conduct RCA and prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive issue resolution and network enhancements.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, issues, and resolutions.
