Job summary

Hyosung T&D India Private Limited in Pune invites an Engineer/Senior Engineer-Bidding to join the team and lead techno-commercial bid activities for AIS/GIS substations.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience in electrical bidding, strong knowledge of HV systems, and hands-on drafting of bid documents, with collaboration across engineering, sales, and procurement.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical stream.
• Strong understanding of AIS/GIS substation equipment and HV system configurations.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, specifications and standards.
• Good coordination and communication with clients and vendors.
• AutoCAD or similar design tool knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyse technical specifications, bid documents, and scope of work for AIS & GIS substations.
• Identify technical requirements, deviations, risks, and value-engineering opportunities.
• Ensure accurate interpretation of client requirements during the bidding cycle.
• Base Design – review SLDs, general layouts, section drawings, gas SLDs, and busbar configuration for HV substations.
• Manage end-to-end techno-commercial bid preparation for AIS/GIS substation projects.
• Coordinate with clients, site teams, sales teams, and engineering groups to gather inputs.
• Lead and mentor the bidding/tendering engineering team.

Job Description
