Job summary

Zeta Biosystem is seeking an Engineer – Projects in India to lead and manage engineering projects from initiation through successful completion. The role requires hands-on project execution, engineering coordination, vendor management, site activities, commissioning, and qualification.

The candidate will oversee scope definition, planning, budgeting, and delivery while coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure quality, timelines, and cost targets are met.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in engineering project execution or project management.
• Strong understanding of engineering project planning, execution, and documentation.
• Exposure to FAT, SAT, commissioning, and DQ/IQ/OQ qualification activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end execution of engineering projects including scope, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to capture technical requirements.
• Review and finalize engineering deliverables such as P&IDs, GA drawings, FAT/SAT protocols, and qualification documents (DQ/IQ/OQ).
• Drive project execution through vendor coordination, procurement follow-up, installation, and site supervision.
• Monitor schedules and milestones, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, progress reports, and MOMs.

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Engineer – Projects to lead and manage engineering projects from initiation through successful completion. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in project execution, engineering coordination, vendor management, site activities, commissioning, and qualification.

The role requires strong project management skills, technical understanding, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring quality, timelines, and cost targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end‑to‑end execution of engineering projects, including scope definition, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and cross‑functional internal teams to understand, capture, and align technical requirements.
• Review and finalize engineering and project deliverables, including P&IDs, GA drawings, FAT/SAT protocols, and qualification documents such as DQ/IQ/OQ.
• Drive project execution through vendor coordination, procurement follow‑up, installation, and site supervision.
• Monitor project schedules and milestones, identify potential risks or delays, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, progress reports, meeting minutes (MOMs), and other project records.
• Support and participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, and qualification activities at vendor and client sites.
• Provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
• Review vendor offers, evaluate technical bids, and support vendor evaluation and selection.
• Track project budgets and expenditures to ensure effective cost control and adherence to financial targets.
• Coordinate equipment installation, integration, testing, and smooth handover to operations.
• Prepare project status presentations and provide regular updates to stakeholders and management.
• Drive cross‑functional problem‑solving to resolve technical challenges, project bottlenecks, and execution issues.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and client reviews, ensuring timely closure of observations and compliance with applicable requirements.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and execution efficiency.

Experience & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in engineering project execution or project management.
• Strong understanding of engineering project planning, execution, and documentation.
• Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, vendors, procurement, and internal teams.
• Working knowledge of engineering drawings and documentation such as P&IDs and GA drawings.
• Exposure to FAT, SAT, commissioning, and DQ/IQ/OQ qualification activities.
• Ability to review technical offers and participate in technical bid evaluations and vendor selection.
• Good understanding of project scheduling, cost monitoring, risk management, and change control.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, coordination, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel to vendor and client sites as required.
