Job summary

Autoliv in Pune, India seeks an Engineer – Process Quality to lead shift quality operations, drive zero-defect initiatives, and ensure adherence to Autoliv standards. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, analyze quality issues, and implement corrective actions to reduce scrap and improve process capability.

The role requires 4–5 years in automotive process quality, strong problem-solving skills, and experience managing 10–20 person teams.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in process quality in automotive/manufacturing.
• Experience in handling shift operations with 10–20 team size.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of DPMU tracking, scrap reduction and quality metrics.
• Understanding of customer audit requirements and process compliance.
• Familiarity with Kaizen and continuous improvement practices.

In this role you will be responsible for managing shift quality operations, driving zero defect initiatives and ensuring adherence to Autoliv standards. You will need to deliver strong DPMU performance, reduce scrap and ensure smooth coordination across departments while maintaining safety and quality excellence.
