Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in India to lead Plumbing and Fire Fighting design for building services. You will prepare design calculations, specifications, BOQs, and technical reports, and coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, HVAC, and process engineering teams.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 8–12 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of local codes and standards, supporting construction, commissioning,

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, specifications, BOQs, and technical reports.

• Review vendor submittals and shop drawings.
• Participate in design reviews and client meetings.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements and international standards.
• Support construction, commissioning, and project closeout activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and review design deliverables.
