Job summary

CERATIZIT India Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru, Karnataka is seeking a Production Planning and Control professional to optimize material flow and production schedules.

You will manage MRP, capacity planning, and process planning to ensure timely availability of raw materials and efficient manufacturing operations. The role requires 3 to 8 years of PPC experience in manufacturing, strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/production/industrial engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years of PPC experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, production scheduling, process planning, and capacity planning.
• Experience coordinating with Production, Purchase, Sales, and Stores.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MIS report generation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in CNC cutting tools, precision engineering, machining, or metal components manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components for production.
• Perform Process Selection and Planning to support efficient manufacturing operations.
• Execute Capacity Planning to balance workload and resources.
• Drive Follow-up and Execution of production plans to meet schedules and delivery commitments.
• Conduct Estimating Quantity and Cost of Production to support planning decisions.
• Prepare MIS reports related to production planning, inventory status, and production performance.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, and Sales to ensure timely materials and on-time customer deliveries.
• Prepare weekly and monthly production schedules based on forecasts and capacity.
• Manage Production Scheduling activities and release offers to group companies as required.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage Material Requirement Planning (MRP) to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components for production.
• Perform Process Selection and Planning to support efficient manufacturing operations and optimum resource utilization.
• Execute Capacity Planning to balance workload, production requirements, and available manufacturing resources.
• Drive effective Follow-up and Execution of production plans to ensure adherence to schedules and delivery commitments.
• Conduct Estimating Quantity and Cost of Production to support planning and operational decision-making.
• Prepare and maintain MIS Reports related to production planning, inventory status, and production performance.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Purchase, and Sales Departments to ensure raw materials are arranged on time and customer orders are delivered as per schedule.
• Prepare efficient Monthly and Weekly Production Schedules based on sales forecasts, customer demand, and production capacity.
• Manage Production Scheduling activities and Release Offers to Group Companies as per business requirements.

Profile Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in Production Planning and Control (PPC) within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Material Requirement Planning (MRP), production scheduling, process planning, and capacity planning.
• Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams including Production, Purchase, Sales, and Stores.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MIS report generation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in CNC Cutting Tools, Precision Engineering, Machining, or Metal Components Manufacturing will be an added advantage.
