Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution by organizing and controlling project elements to meet performance, requirements and design.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate actions as needed.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, Engineering) for smooth project implementation.
• Monitor compliance to codes, QA/QC policies, standards and specifications.
• Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budgets and quality norms.
• Collaborate with project managers to drive efficient methods and project profitability.
• Prepare IMS documents and archive as per standards.
• Adhere to statutory and regulatory compliances.

Purpose of the Role

To schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities by applying engineering expertise in order to execute projects within timelines, budgets and adherence to RIL project management standards

Responsibilities

Policies, Processes and Procedures

• Conduct day to day activities & follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Keep self abreast with leading practices & trends and contribute to the identification of continuous improvement of systems, processes and procedures

Project Execution

• Lead project execution by organizing and controlling project elements based on a thorough review of performance standards, requirements, and product design
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate actions
• Coordinate with cross functional teams such as Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, JEC/Engineering etc. for project related activities to ensure smooth implementation
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Ensure timely completion of projects and reports within approved budget, closure of transaction & quality in project execution
• Cooperate and communicate with project managers and other project participants to drive efficient project methods and to maintain the projects profitability
• Prepare and maintain all IMS documents as per requirement and archive it as per documentation standards
• Adhere to all statutory and regulatory compliances and maintain strict adherence to DEPs

Education Requirement

• Necessary: Bachelors degree in Engineering / Diploma degree in Engineering

Experience Requirement

Necessary: 1-3 years of experience in plant maintenance or project execution ; higher experience level for diploma holders
