Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Bhubaneswar, India seeks an MEP Engineer to support project leads in planning, coordinating, and executing industrial construction projects. The role focuses on electrical works, design review, and multidisciplinary collaboration to deliver within scope, budget, and schedule.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, experience with interior construction, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of interior construction processes, materials and finishes.
• Proficiency in design and project management software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Lead in planning, coordinating, and overseeing electrical works.
• Help develop and review interior design plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Support in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, designers, and clients.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, change orders, and project documentation.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks related to industrial works.
• Support quality control processes and adherence to building codes and safety standards.
• Contribute to client presentations and progress meetings.
• Assist in mentoring junior team members and technicians.
• Support procurement for fitout materials, furniture, and equipment.
• Assist in preparing proposals and cost estimates for fitout projects.

MEP Engineer

At JLL, the MEP Engineer supports the Project Lead in managing and executing Construction projects for industrial developments. This role involves assisting with project coordination, technical oversight, and team management to ensure successful delivery of industrial projects within scope, budget, and timeline. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical works with excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities
