Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Pune is seeking a senior MEP Lead to design, supervise and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems across the project lifecycle. You will oversee budgets, lead engineers and vendors, ensure compliance with codes, and ensure timely commissioning and handover.

The role requires on-site leadership, strong stakeholder management, and collaboration with civil, structural and architectural teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience leading MEP design and execution on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of local codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Leadership and cross-functional coordination across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP design & execution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage MEP teams, subcontractors and vendors for efficient delivery.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural and commissioning teams to resolve clashes.
• Monitor budgets, costs, variations and resource optimization without compromising quality.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, handover and client interfacing.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP Design & Execution
• Manage and oversee Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and ELV systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Project Planning & Coordination: Develop MEP execution plans, schedules, resource requirements, and installation methodologies aligned with project objectives.
• Manage MEP Teams: Lead engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution and delivery.
• Technical Review & Compliance: Review drawings, specifications, calculations, and ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Cross-Discipline Coordination: Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural, and commissioning teams to resolve clashes and maintain project progress.
• Cost & Budget Management: Monitor MEP budgets, control costs, evaluate variations, and optimize project resources without compromising quality.
• Quality Assurance & Safety: Ensure all MEP installations meet quality standards, project specifications, and site safety regulations.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify technical and execution risks, implement mitigation measures, and resolve site-related issues promptly.
• Testing, Commissioning & Handover: Lead testing, commissioning, performance validation, documentation, and handover of MEP systems to clients.
