Job summary

Arabelle Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for Low Pressure Turbine Modules to apply design rules, verify with calculations, and produce drawings with BOMs. You will work across plants and coordinate with management to develop legacy models while protecting IP and complying with EHS standards.

The role requires 2–3 years in mechanical design, proficiency in Catia V5, and knowledge of manufacturing processes. Prior experience with Enovia PLM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in mechanical engineering.
• 2–3 years experience in mechanical design (energy/oil & gas/aerospace/special-purpose machinery).
• Knowledge of standard mechanical construction components (plates, tubes, bolts, flanges, etc.).
• Proficiency in Catia V5 software.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Functional analysis and FMEA.
• General knowledge of manufacturing processes (welding, casting, forging, turning, milling).
• General knowledge of materials and their selection.
• Proficiency with common IT tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience with PLM software: Enovia (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure application of internal design rules for components.
• Verify designs using calculations and functional specifications.
• Provide manufacturing drawings for components; prepare BOMs and archive them in RPDM.
• Contribute to protecting Arabelle technology IP by generating patentable innovations.
• Coordinate with program management for development of legacy models.
• Standardize legacy models by limiting the number of variants.
• Use official tools to archive all technical documentation.
• Provide support to plants manufacturing these components (France and abroad).
• Continuously improve products via feedback and cost/performance programs.
• Comply with the company’s EHS rules.

Mechanical Design Engineer – Low Pressure Turbine Modules

• Ensure the application of internal design rules for components
• Verify designs using calculations and functional specifications
• Provide manufacturing drawings for componentsPrepare parts lists (BOMs) and archive them in the official database (RPDM)
• Contribute to protecting ARABELLE technology intellectual property by generating patentable innovations
• Work in coordination with program management for the development of legacy models
• Standardize legacy models by limiting the number of variants
• Use official tools to archive all technical documentation
• Provide support to the various plants involved in manufacturing these components (in France and abroad)
• Continuously improve products by incorporating feedback (from factories and sites) as well as cost reduction or performance improvement programs (Cost Excellence)
• Comply with the company’s EHS rules

Candidate Profile

• Education: Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering.
• Experience: Engineer with at least 2–3 years of experience in a mechanical design environment (energy, oil & gas, aerospace, special-purpose machinery)
• Knowledge of standard mechanical construction components (plates, tubes, bolts, flanges, etc.)
• Proficiency in Catia V5 software
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Functional analysis and FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis)
• General knowledge of standard manufacturing processes (welding, casting, forging, turning, milling, etc.)
• General knowledge of materials and their selection
• Proficiency with common IT tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Experience with PLM software: Enovia (preferred)

Language Skills

English: Fluent (spoken, listening comprehension, reading, and writing)
