Job summary

Schneider Electric in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced professional for machine assembly and maintenance roles. You will lead line setting activities, ensure safety and quality, plan manpower for assembly, installation and commissioning, and collaborate with design and procurement teams to optimize machine performance.

The candidate will develop technical competencies within the team, implement preventive maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience in Machine assembly/maintenance.
• General manufacturing processes in Electrical/Auto/Auto auxiliary Industry, Machine assembly knowledge.
• Pneumatic knowledge, mechanical manufacturing, automatic assembly.
• Able to understand, interpret mechanical drawings, suggest improvement in machine design.
• Equipment & process solution creation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble machines per technical files and safety standards, meet 5S requirements.
• Lead setting activities on the line to maintain CTQ and deliver quality product.
• Plan manpower for assembly, installation and commissioning at plant.
• Monitor progress indicators and action plans; participate in investment proposals and cross-functional projects.
• Implement preventive maintenance checklist and train receiving plant methods and maintenance team.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure materials needed for assembly.
• Develop technical competency within the assembly team to foster autonomy and capability.

Job description

Realize the Assembly of the machine as per the technical files meeting the Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery requirements. Enforce safety & health rules & 5S throughout the MDC India workshop Lead the complete setting activity in the line related to process to maintain the CTP and deliver the correct CTQ as per specification to deliver quality product. Plan in advance all the manpower required to realize the machine assembly build, Installation and commissioning of machine at plant Animate at daily frequency the SIM1 with appropriated progress indicators & action plan Participate at investment proposals, transverse projects & action plan with MDC technical team. Propose any new ideas to improve performance of the machine With the support of MDC Electrical, Mechanical design team, Implement the Preventive maintenance check list and train the receiving plant methods and maintenance team. With support of procurement team follow up for materials needed for Assembly, plan to size the team accordingly. Develop technical competency as individual and assembly team to develop autonomy in setter function by training and development

Requitement

• Minimum 2 to 4 years experience in Machine assembly /Maintenance.
• General manufacturing processes in Electrical/Auto/Auto auxiliary Industry , Machine Assembly knowledge.
